Picasa webalbums is weer volledig functioneel. De site verwijst niet langer door naar Google+ foto’s en ook zoekfunctie werkt weer, althans voor persoonlijke foto’s en video’s. De zoekfunctie werd verwijderd in 2013.
Ik verwachtte dat Google de dienst zou staken en vervangen zou door Google Foto’s, omdat Google+ niet langer nodig is. Maar voorlopig is Picasa-webalbums hier weer om te blijven en dat is echt verrassend.
